I hope the O comes out firing on all cylinders......Hopefully they finally put 30 on the scoreboard....
I wouldn't count on it. That Jags defense is legit, except against the run for some reason. I still feel like we'll win, but if it was in Jacksonville I would be expecting the worst.
The defense has got to step up. They have to take away Fournette and the run game and make Bortles beat them. He's similar to Flacco in the respect that he's garbage under pressure. Though he's mostly garbage anyway haha.
@Steelersdepot: Useless stat of the day: #Steelers have never lost a Week 5 game under Mike Tomlin.
Jax has improved but look at the offenses they have faced at this point.....The Steelers are at home and really they should score 30+.......
Steelers 38 Jax 17
GREAT news. I was cringing at the thought of Hubbard going up against those Jags pass rushers.
@jimwexell: Marcus Gilbert, with a planned day off for hamstring recovery, is expected to play Sunday. Steelers would have full, intended lineup intact.
According to Depot, it will be the first time since week 2 of 2014 that all intended 22 starters played together.

Can you even IMAGINE the backlash Tomlin would've gotten had this team done what the Pats just did? They committed back to back roughing the passer penalties with no time left on the clock before the half and put Tampa in field goal range. Unreal.
Bucs should have won that game......Folk missed 3 field goals and Brate dropped a TD in the end zone.....Pats should be 1-4.....Texans had them beat as well....
@missi_matthews: Marcus Gilbert (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. He did not practice again today.
Steelers currently have the number 2 ranked defence....... just saying
Point to note, the Jags are number one on defence against the pass. We are number 2.
Damn. Martavis questionable with an illness.

Yeah that's a bummer. Really hope he's feeling up to it tomorrow.
That's great and all, BUT... Deshone Kizer (in his first start no less), Case Keenum, Mike Glennon, Joe Flacco. Not quite All-Pros lol. And tomorrow we have Bortles. Our first REAL test will be next week, on the road vs the Chiefs. We win THAT game and I feel good about going into any stadium. Good teams, I mean lol
@AdamSchefter: Despite being listed as questionable due to illness, Steelers’ WR Martavis Bryant will play Sunday vs Jaguars, per source.
I hear what your saying but we can only play who they put in front of us and if we're doing this well against this opposition so far we can't be half bad. It's certainly nice to see the defence up there in the top 5 unlike last year.
Jacksonville are a strange bunch. I watched their games in the pre season. The were so bad especailly on offence. I almost posted on here things could be worse for us... we could be Jacksonville. But look at them now. !!! I know pre season is one thing, but not sure Jacksonville are as great as people are fearing.
Lastly on the above, Case Keenum is doing really well I think so no slouch as you suggest. Flaco again is not slouch and perhaps he was made to look awful by how well we are getting pressure with just rushing 4 and credit to our defence perhaps ?
I can agree with most of what you're saying except a few things.
1) no one is saying Jacksonville is great. They absolutely are not. But their defense is legit. They have a serious pass rush and with Marcus Gilbert out again, could pose a serious problem.
2) Joe Flacco is absolutely a slouch. He's terrible. He's incapable of hitting open receivers or throwing the ball under pressure. If it wasn't for that massive contract I'm not sure how much longer he'd be a Raven. He's bad.
Strange seeing Deebo as a healthy scratch. And as much as it may be a bummer for him, it's a great sign as far as the team is concerned. Dupree/Watt rarely leave the field. I think they were off the field for like 2 snaps last week. I think it's been since prime Deebo/Woodley that we've had something like that.
@rayfitt1: Steelers inactives: Marcus Gilbert, James Harrison, Josh Dobbs, Eli Rogers, Brian Allen, Jerald Hawkins, and Daniel McCullers
I surely hope they put it together and score 30, but this is not a good offense right now. Ben makes bad decisions and his accuracy is terrible in the red zone.
I am getting worried. This D will not hold up all game against that run attack (nor all season) without the offense doing their job.
Tackled him before the ball got there. Why would it be PI?
