I'm thinking Evans will be the pick. Good chance he will be there when they pick and they need WR's. Be the big guy Ben always wanted.

I think the pick will be Dennard, if Evans is there they will sprint to the podium for him though

You think Evans will be gone? How do you think Dennard will be in DL's scheme?

I think he has a slight chance of falling to 15, hes the guy if hes there I have no doubt about it...need a run on QBs and OTs for that to happen (Manziel, Bortles, Bridgewater, and Carr all COULD go in the top 15). Lewan, Robinson, Matthews, and maybe one more OT would be nice. We would also need someone to take Barr and likely both of the corners.....not impossible though, no way in hell decastro should have been there, same with jarvis jones...and they had that pick in within 30 second of being on the clock for both of those guys

I am not a fan of Dennard in the current scheme. Hes feisty and aggressive and he shows great awareness ( a bit grabby but has a knack for turning his head around and "playing" the ball) Hes essentially Ike, steeler fans will bitch about him not turning the ball over but he has lock down ability, specifically in the press man scheme the steelers dont run lol.

Gilbert is the better player, hes the better fit, and has a much higher ceiling....Dennard to me could be like Leon Hall and flirt with being a top 12 CB, but Gilbert could be Patrick Peterson and flirt with being a top 3 CB (plus returner, excellent ball skills, and is excellent on breaking to the ball in zone coverage)

    Nice info, thanks.

You should put your list of best "fit?" right next to it?

    Interesting read on Dennard.

Funny thing is a lot of this sounds like:

"POSITIVES: Terrific shutdown cornerback coming off an outstanding senior season. Quick-footed in reverse, fluid flipping his hips and loses nothing transitioning with opponents. Easily stays downfield with receivers, reading their eyes then getting his head back around to locate the ball. Quick planting to the throw and adjusts in midair to make the interception. Physical and supports the run."

That is a scouting report about Tye hill, epic bust CB for the rams in 2006

Really looks like a work in progress. Got some good potential though. Really not sure I'd want an OLB at 15 that probably won't play much with the way the Steelers play D. Tough for rookies to learn it.

I think Worilds is a one year rental...they were smart to not sign him to a ridiculous contract. Which is why I think barr could be very much in play (or Kyle Van Noy in 2)
