I'd be interested in your thoughts. I think we lose a close one. 24 - 21. Hunt has been a beast this year and our run D seems to wear down pretty quickly. Lots of long runs after stuffing the run for a while. At least it seems that way to me. Offense? No clue what happens with that unit. Bryant being used on drag routes five yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Dunno. I'm not smart enough to figure it out but the Steelers just seem out of sync. I was excited with all the new guys contributing but I'm over it.

I think we get blown out. I wouldn't feel too confident going into Arrowhead and beating this Chiefs team had we taken care of business last week against Jax. Idk man. This Chiefs team is just firing on all cylinders and Arrowhead is probably the toughest place to play. Im hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Hunt could have 200 yards rushing

You talking bout the first half o_O?. It'll probably be the other guy,the little speedster, who ends up doing the damage. Now that baby hands isn't afraid to throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field they are really dangerous. Probably the best team in the league right now unfortunately.

If the Steelers get blown out (don't care that it's in KC) after the showing they had at home last week I'm gonna be pissed. They are playing an undefeated team and that along with the DUD last week should have them coming out fired up. Not saying they'll win but it should be a better game than people think.

Coming out fired up and being "prepared" doesn't mean they can't get whooped by the best team in the league. Especially when the QB play has been subpar, to put it kindly, all season.

Like I said, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Well here it is around 0500 on a Sunday. Usually looking forward to the game. Today not so much. Yanno when the Steelers were bad it seemed to be easier to take. I grew up a fan in the late 60's early 70's. I was at the first game Chuck Noll coached at the old pitt stadium. We actually won that game. It was the only one but I got to see a win. It was fun watching Noll and the FO turn the team around. Now that their supposed to be a good team and watching them stink it up on both sides of the ball it's not as much fun. Guess I'm spoiled now. Painful. I'm hoping the defense figures out how to tackle and stop the run. How many passes did Bortles throw in the 2nd half last week? T I know you posted about how many yards come on big plays but those have not been few and far between for this defense. Sure take out the big ones and suddenly the average drops to under 4 yards per carry but you can't take out the big ones. Those are the game changers. This defense gives up to many splash runs. Yes the offense puts them in a bad situation with a short field. But the Jags drove for a TD from about the 50 and didn't have to throw a single pass I believe. Here's hoping the offense shows up today. I have become convinced that Jesse James, or any other receiver could stand in the middle of the field with not a defender around them for 20 yards waving their hands in the air and this year Ben is still going to throw to Brown in triple coverage. So there's my rant for the day. Not much of a rant. Hard part of a Steelers loss is trying to console my wife! She takes it MUCH harder than I do :)

THIS ^^^^^^. Couldn't agree more. This is part the problem.

You know what I can see the Steelers whooping KC arse in this one. I seem to remember KC being a happy away hunting ground for the Steelers over the years, and we then slip up again the week after and us here can't figure out whether our team is playoff or bottom dweller calibre .....

Murphys law of averages means at SOME point the offence will explode like we are expecting it to... Dare I it happens this week - blow out win for Steelers.....

Ben goes for 400 yard, 4 td's and Bell gets 150 on ground. Brown/Bryant/Bell/Ben are just too good NOT to perform at least once this year :)

He's returned too many punts I guess. Not quite understanding that you can't let them get to that ball.

Yeah, but even then one would just call a fair catch. Damn, get a safety and it turns out better for the Chiefs.

    Quick takes:

    OL looks great run blocking.

D looks fast and "tackley." Is that a word? :)
