Seems like we have only scored less than 20 points on the road going back a way. Something like 14 out of 20 games? That feels wrong for a team like this so I could be wrong I guess.

This has been going on a long time even with different coordinators. One constant: Ben

It's definitely been amplified in recent years, idk if it has to do with ben declining or what but it is concerning. Though I'm going to give them more than the opening game before I label them one way or another.

Was the offense at its best vs the Browns?......Hell no and it was a very sloppy game due in my opinion it was the first real game action they had as a group in awhile.....

MB is still shaking the rust off after his year long suspension.....Bell, recovering from his groin in the AFC title game and him missing camp, I think was also a factor in the sluggish out put by the offense....

Ben wasn't at his best Sunday, the INT was horrible and he forced the throw into multi coverage to MB.....Other options were open on that play....Still Ben completed 66% of his throws and was 2 for 2 in the red zone....

The run blocking by the O and the run game is more of a concern to me right now but I'm not that worried...OLine still getting into sync with each other.....

How about giving the Browns D credit?...Maybe they're not the push over easy win anymore and headed in the right direction?

my point was there is a history there. Not just this game. So your statement about giving the Brown's D some credit really has nothing to do with what I was trying to get across. For a while now there has been an issue with this team on the road. That's all I'm asking. We'll see if it continues this year. I agree with T's post about giving them more than the opening game this year to see if it gets corrected.

I understood your point, but all we can judge this season on so far is one game.....That is why I said about the Browns deserving some credit....

It seems to me that despite all of his years of experience that Ben gets rattled on the road now when the crowd is going crazy and the opponents defence cranks up the pressure.
