Let Bell unleash hell on that running D of theirs. 8-9 straight runs to start the game off and set the pace.
Bold prediction; if we strike first, we win this game.
Bell had 178 yards from scrimmage on only 23 touches, including 18 carries for 144 yards (8 YPC), when they played back in week 4. That was his first game back after his injury/suspension.
If Ben avoids another road stinker, even just plays Alex Smith ball and manages the game, I like or chances on offense.
Ben's play is the only thing that worries me this game. Which is really weird to say. But his play on the road this year is baffling, to put it mildly. And some of his picks are down right maddening.
But he just doesn't make the poor throw, I don't see KC being able to stop our O.
And the D is trending up and up and up. It's flying around, hitting hard, and causing turnovers...if that continues, we'll be off the NE!
defense is defending plays extremely well that killed them earlier in the year
@drinelli: The #Steelers tied for the most sacks (27) in the second half of the 2016 season (Game 9-16) and tied for the most on Wild Card weekend (5).
Chiefs just aren't built to come from behind more than 14 points. They have great players and think Kelcie V timmons or Harrison will drive us nuts at times. Te's always tend to do well against us.
Said it 2 weeks ago now, and after the win V Miami, will continue to harp on about it.... Our O Line is going to win us the Superbowl this year. They are the real stars of this team right now. They are making it easy for the others around them.
What a nightmare it must be for the Cheifs Defence and Co-ordinator.
Put 8 in the box to stop bell Leaving AB one on one ? Is L Green playing this week will make that even harder.
The Cheifs Dee HAVE to stop Bell with 7 in the box for them to win this game.
I also think our Dee is playing lights out football now. I can't see them getting more than 17 on us.
Think this game will be a around a 28-17 Win for the Steelers. Game will be 28-10 late and KC will get a trash time irrelivant TD late to make it 28-17.
The TE's always seem to do well against us didnt apply to many TEs this year...except gronk.
Kelce and Reed, imo the next two most talented receiving TEs aside from maybe Jimmy Graham...pretty limited.
I think the Shazier/Sean Davis/Mike Mitchell all playing together factors well against TEs. You wont see Kelce matched up against harrison much, unless kelce is suppose to block the ageless wonder, in which case i like our odds.
Alex Smith plays small ball most of the time...but at times this year he has come out and slung the ball like hes dan marino. Its confusing, but he can be forced into making mistakes and thats how you beat the chiefs (who rely on him to take care of the ball, which he can do pretty well)
Timmons especially gets to cover the slot guy on some coverages which in KC's case will be the TE Kelce and when Kc have those matchups it will make me worried! LOL. Here's to hoping Timmons prooves me wrong
Timmons has been fantastic this year
Porter's assault charge dropped. Only charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Shazier didn't even play in the first matchup, correct? And they still found a way to make Kelce a non-factor.
Nope Shazier didn't play vs Chiefs...
A fun trip down memory lane. Where has rollers been anyways? Who pissed him off?
He lurks around
Probably Tarls lol
Lol...I almost ended my post "I'm looking at you Tarls!"
LOL What? Me?
Man, you cause one guy (NPB) to go stomping off and you get a reputation.
A reputation for being a big meanie!!! Lol
If you caused NPB to take off I'll give you a big kudo.
